I suppose it's silly to ask where the weekend went when I slept past noon both days, huh? ;) The long weekend is coming up none too soon.
The pinkeye is much better. It's still occasionally uncomfortable, but otherwise fine. I'm terrible at putting in eyedrops--they tell you to hold out your lower eyelid and put drops in the pouch. The best I can do is hold the dropper over my mostly-closed eyes and blink the drops in. This is very inefficient and also makes the drops go all over my face. I have to remind myself a few times a day that I haven't been crying!
So here are the sockies! First the long-in-the-making Biteberry socks.
They get the stamp of kitty approval.
And now the speedy Dad socks. I'm making them cuff-down because I'm not worried about running out of yarn (they can have red extra-long toes if need be) and I can gave them mostly finished for Dad to try on, then finish them to the right side. All this progress was made during 4 episodes of Weeds, 2 of Firefly, and 2 of MI-5 (my latest obsession... Oh, Matthew Macfayden is so much better in this than in Pride & Prejudice...). OK, so that's actually a lot of knitting time, but who's counting?

Very nice socks!!!
You know, I've gotten rather use to you posting everyday. You're going to have to keep this up, you know!

The Biteberries turned out great!!! Hopefully it wasn't TOO annoying to knit them.

D'oh - I just managed to delete your Ravelry comment instead of replying to it. Thanks! It was a nice fast knit.

Yay for the biteberry socks!!!
On the eyedrops: when you have to give yourself steroid drops once an hour every hour for several days in a row, you perfect the technique... ;)
